PHOTOS TAKEN IN UTERO. At barely 7 weeks of development (photo on the right) we can already see the clear proof of the brain and spinal cord - which is actually the first organ to develop. WHY DO THE BRAIN AND SPINAL CORD DEVELOP FIRST? Because they compose the master control system of the body. As a unit, combined, they will direct and coordinate the process of forming a human being. A miracle for sure.
Have you ever wondered about the details behind this amazing process? For example…how does the eye socket just happen to perfectly fit the eye? If the socket forms too large, then the eye could fall out. If formed too small, it might put undue pressure on the eye. How is it your fingers grow to just the right size to fit your hand and not someone else’s? It’s beyond awesome to realize that in just nine months a perfect baby is formed….ready to be born and begin functioning.
ALL that happens under the brain and spinal cord’s control. Look closely….there is no place where the brain stops and the spine begins. They are one continuous organ.
Next time we will review how they communicate with the body.
