DESPITE ALL EYES ON ROME THE PAST FEW WEEKS….this truly unique masterpiece received no mention. Painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo in the early 1500s, it represents God touching Adam to instill the spark of life. BUT WHAT IS THAT SPARK? Michelangelo may not have understood all that the scientists of today know…but he did recognize that it comes solely from God alone. No scientist will ever be able to conjure it up or duplicate it in a test tube, no matter how many degrees or distinctions. As depicted, that “spark of life” is indeed a form of energy. Initiated at conception, it doesn’t end until life ends. And perhaps I stated that incorrectly - actually LIFE ends when the “spark of energy” leaves the body or more specifically leaves the brain where the spark is housed throughout life. (That is why they always test for brain waves before pronouncing an individual dead). MAKE NO MISTAKE…that premise is WELL recognized and is just the first step in understanding health and sickness.
